It’s been a tough start to 2022 for the technology sector as markets have adjusted to an

increasingly hawkish Federal Reserve (Fed). Based on the S&P 500 Information Technology

Sector Index, tech is down 13% in January compared with the S&P 500 Index’s 9% decline (as

of January 27, 2022). The semiconductor industry group has led the decline with its 19% slide
